Architect: Denkkamer Architectuur & Onderzeok

The drying process of this conversion of biomass to fertilizer releases a large amount of heat into the surrounding which is used for neighboring mushroom nurseries as a fuel. The design of the translucent façade aimed at providing visibility to how it functions inside the tunnel. When the drying process progresses, the temperature climbs up to 80°C which makes it extremely hard to reach the machines. By lighting up the façade of the service area with LED lights help to determine the stage of the process and how it develops and reduced CO² amount is projected onto the translucent façade using matrix display.
